Programming on the 'advanced client' is nearly complete. Tests on multiple platforms (PC, Mac, Linux) have been positive.
Two key elements remain under development: a Change Server and adjustments to the Trusted Transfer protocols.
The Change Server will allow users to convert larger CloudCoin notes into many smaller ones, such as breaking a 250-coin note into 250 one-coin notes. This is important for CloudCoins for smart contracts and utility tokens. Trusted Transfer lets users quickly, securely and anonymously trade coins and is essential to exchanges, merchant applications and gateways to other RAIDA applications beyond CloudCoin.
Artistic refinements are also still in the works on colors, fonts and proportions. How-to-videos and guidebooks for the new software are under development.
Lightning speed on fixes
Sean Worthington was able to perform fix operations on 8,400 notes (2 million coins) in 4.3 minutes, which could have taken most of a day using older software.
"I am sure we can even get it faster once we have all the RAIDA working with multi-fix. But this is a exponential improvement!" Sean said.
