CloudCoin users will soon be able to transfer coins using simple names similar to websites and working with existing DNS systems.
The system will let users send coins to easy to remember and use addresses, like (for example) editor@weekly.bulletin, which would be translated to a DNS name like editor.weekly.bulletin and then to an IP address like 1.234.5.678.
Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, in contrast, use complicated addresses like1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX and users need a private key which can be lost or forgotten, meaning coins are permanently lost. CloudCoins can never be permanently lost.
These transfers will work with the Trusted Transfer system using the upcoming Advance Client software (see below).
